Fruit Pizza

  • 0.25 cup butter
  • 1.5 cups sugar
  • 2.0 eggs
  • 2.5 cups white flour
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 1.0 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1.0 cup sour cream
  • 1.0 teaspoon lemon rind, grated
  • 8.0 ounces whipped topping
  • 8.0 ounces cream cheese
  • 0.25 cup confectioner's sugar
  • 0.125 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • grapes, halved
  • bananas, sliced
  • blueberries
  • pineapple tidbits
  • orange sections
  • 1.0 red cherry

Mix butter, sugar, eggs, flour, salt, baking soda, sour cream and grated lemon rind into a dough, and divide mixture in half. Press each half into a 12-inch pizza pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes.

Mix cream cheese, whipped topping, confectioners' sugar and vanilla and spread over the cooled dough. Place fruit on top, beginning at the outside edge, and put a cherry in the middle when finished.

Each pizza serves 12.
